18v distortion/boost circuit
Gorilla Glasses is a DIY-friendly interpretation of the GCI Ape Eye high voltage distortion/boost circuit. It uses a charge pump to internally add a -9V rail to the standard incoming +9VDC supply for a total swing of 18 volts. The sound is classy and transparent and features the typical gain, volume and tone controls as well as a unique "clipping" control. Turn this to adust between "boost" and "distortion." Increasing this control lowers volume and increases clipping. Bassists, in particular will love this feature.
Sale is for PCB only. You must source the components and build the pedal yourself. To make foot switch wiring easier, we also suggest you buy the 3pdt utility switch.
